Our
electronics de-manufacturing and recycling facility is based in Ferndale,
Michigan. All electronic equipment is delivered to our 30,000 sq. ft.
warehouse, then processed. This procedure involves equipment being
inventoried, evaluated and
classified as either for reuse or for recovery of raw
materials and recycled.
There is a
tremendous amount of increasing electronic waste produced from all forms of
today’s enterprises, adding to the polluting waste stream of this planet,
which can cause potential health and environmental problems. Several million
electronic products will be discarded as scrap in the U.S. alone in the next
five years. Due to the negative environmental impact, heavy fines exceeding
$30,000 per day, per machine can be levied against companies or individuals
who improperly dispose of equipment. Storing unused equipment can be a waste
of time and money. Reuse of these products saves our planet from astounding
harmful waste and alleviates the need for additional raw materials used in
the manufacturing of these products.
Thru our
electronic de-manufacturing and recycling process, EFR is committed to addressing
these concerns not only to meet the challenges of today, but for the long term
future. At Earth Friendly Recycling (EFR), we strive to provide a high level of
quality service not only to meet but exceed customer expectations. Timely,
professional services along with operations that comply with federal, state and
local requirements are our every day goal. At EFR, we believe our 0% land fill,
0% waste and 100% environmentally conscious policies define who we are; being
more earth friendly.
